Public Works<\/h2>\n

Pond Inlet’s Municipal Services and Public Works Department is responsible for water and sewage services, road maintenance, garbage and waste collection, and the maintenance of all hamlet-owned buildings.<\/p>\n

Roads<\/h3>\n

Responsible for the maintenance of hamlet roads and surface infrastructure including street signs, culverts, and walkways. This includes snow clearing, removing blockages from culverts and ensuring roads and walkways are safe.<\/p>\n

Garbage<\/h3>\n

Residential garbage is picked up daily throughout the hamlet.<\/p>\n

NOTE:<\/strong> For Public Service Holidays and\/or special days, garbage will be collected either the day before or the day after the Public Service Holiday \/ special day, depending on when it falls during a week.<\/p>\n

Water and Sewage<\/h3>\n

Responsible for the delivery of trucked water and sewage collection services seven days per week to all residential, commercial, and government clients.<\/p>\n

Any complaints, concerns, suggestions, or compliments can be submitted to the Municipal Services and Public Works Department via the Compliments and Complaints<\/a> page.<\/p>\n
